Being responsive to our own needs can be so challenging. It's like....I have to do this one thing a certain way or else I've failed my goal. But...the only person who gets to decide what goals you have and how to get there...is yourself. I think your body was wise in letting you know that it didn't want the pressure of doing something that's meant to be enjoyable, and you were wise to listen =)

Yes! I have spent a lot of time doing things the way I thought I "should" and so much of the time it didn't work for me. It felt really good to be able to see some progress with this process and how I was able to reassess and just... change my mind! No shame, just an adjustment!

This is nice, A. I like the way you grapple and wrestle with your queue. This splednid piece of yours makes me think of Lisa's latest prompt and poem, "Floorplan, and the ntoion of walls and doors and how they may be different perceptions of the same thing. Keep queueing, pondering, wrestling and of course, reading!
